Recently Prestige has undergone changes in its top executive management structure. Danie Otto is no longer managing director at Prestige as he has been appointed managing director at TMS, another subsidiary company within BidServ. Prestige’s new managing director is Johan du Toit. Du Toit, who was previously group operations director, has been with the company for 19years. Rob White, who was previously group sales and marketing director, has taken over du Toit’s position as group operations director.

Since the launch of the Prestige Travel Club in 2007, Prestige has had employees from all over the country striving to win a seat on this annual incentive trip. All candidates are assessed on the balanced scorecard on various categories with the highest achievers winning a seat on the international incentive trip. Last year, Prestige sent 27 top achievers to Singapore and Phuket. The group had a truly memorable experience. The annual “Black Tie Group Conference” was held at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, where the winners for the 2009 Prestige Travel Club were announced.

Prestige is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of NICE Equipment (Pty) Ltd, a nationally based, well-established company in toilet hire and waste management. This newly acquired company will operate as a Division within the Prestige Group, offering a wide range of portable & mobile toilet solutions.

We are privileged to look directly onto the stadium from our office windows at South Coast region, KZN. We have been fortunate enough to watch the development of the 60000-seater Durban Stadium (Moses Mabhida) from the start. Our direct involvement in providing cleaning services through MATCH Hospitality, for the 2010 World Cup is finally becoming real as we start selecting staff for this massive event!

Last year, Prestige Cleaning Services sent 33 top achievers to set sail down the River Nile. The group had a truly memorable experience with sightseeing of pyramids, visiting Temples and enjoying tours about Egypt’s ancient history.

Prestige Cleaning Services has affiliated itself with the Green Building Council of South Africa. The Green Building Council is an independent, non profit organization spearheaded by leaders from all sectors of the commercial property industry. Launched in 2007, their aim is to promote and facilitate Green Building practices through market based solutions.
